Summary
Digital Scorpion Interactive ("DSI", "we", "our") respects your privacy. This page explains what personal data we collect when you visit digitalscorpioninteractive.com, interact with our games, or apply to join the studio, and what we do (and don't do) with it.
- We do not sell your personal data. Ever.
- We collect only what we need to operate the site, fulfill orders, and process applications.
- You can request a copy or deletion of your data any time by emailing [email protected].
1. Information we collect
1a. Information you provide directly
- Contact form / email: when you write to us through the contact page or directly to
[email protected], we receive your name, email address, and the contents of your message. - Job applications: when you apply to an open role on /careers, we collect the information you submit in the application, name, email, phone (optional), résumé/CV, portfolio links, and any cover letter or supporting documents. This data is stored in our applicant tracking system and is accessible only to the DSI hiring team.
- Shop orders: when you purchase merchandise from our shop, the checkout is processed by Fourthwall (our merchandise fulfillment partner). Fourthwall collects the shipping address, billing details, and payment information necessary to fulfill your order. DSI does not store payment card data.
1b. Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs: our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records the IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamp of each request for security and performance monitoring. These logs are retained for a short rolling window.
- Cookies: the site uses a small number of functional cookies (for example, to remember the contents of your shopping cart between page loads). We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The shop checkout uses cookies set by Fourthwall to support the cart flow.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to messages, support requests, and partnership inquiries.
- To review and respond to job applications.
- To process and fulfill shop orders, including shipping and customer service.
- To monitor site performance, prevent abuse, and improve the visitor experience.
- To publish blog content and game updates, which may be syndicated through our social accounts.
We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the items above.
3. Third-party services we use
To operate the site we rely on a small set of trusted services. Each service has its own privacy policy that governs how it handles your data:
- Cloudflare, DNS, CDN, and edge security. Privacy policy.
- Fourthwall, merchandise fulfillment (shop checkout, payment processing, shipping). Privacy policy.
- Contentful, the content management system that powers our blog. Read-only on the public site. Privacy policy.
- Google Fonts, typography. Font files are served from Google's CDN. Privacy policy.
4. How long we keep your data
- Contact messages: retained for as long as needed to address your inquiry, then archived or deleted.
- Job applications: retained for up to 24 months after submission for future role consideration, then deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time.
- Shop orders: retained by Fourthwall per their data retention policy; DSI retains order summaries for accounting and customer-service purposes.
- Server logs: retained for a short rolling window (typically 30 days) by Cloudflare.
5. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
